Becoming a Member

Take an active role in the growth of Chinese martial arts in Western Australia.

Club Membership

A Member Club is any club owner or operator who runs a Chinese martial arts related program with the goal of having its individual members participating in Kung Fu Wushu WA events, programs or accreditation courses.

Member Clubs make up the foundation of the Kung Fu Wushu WA membership base. All individual members are represented through the Member Club in which they are affiliated with. Through a member club, individuals are provided with informative materials, guidance and resources such as invitation to events, participation in clinics, accreditation courses along with participation in national and international championships.

Kung Fu Wushu WA Member Clubs have the option to be protected by the $20,000,000 public liability insurance policy of the Australian Kung Fu (Wushu) Federation.

Member clubs are required to educate themselves on the policies of Kung Fu Wushu WA and to share with all individual members of your club with the responsibilities and roles that you undertake as a recognised Member Club of Kung Fu Wushu WA.

Community Instructor Membership

Membership is also open to any kung fu / wushu (or related martial arts) community instructor that does not have any form of business registration. It is a low cost membership that provides an instructor with access to the AKWF accreditation and insurance services.

Kung Fu Wushu WA Community Instructor Membership have the option to be protected by the $20,000,000 public liability insurance policy of the Australian Kung Fu (Wushu) Federation.

Community Instructor Members are required to educate themselves on the policies of Kung Fu Wushu WA and to share with all individual members of your club with the responsibilities and roles that you undertake as a recognised Community Instructor Member of Kung Fu Wushu WA.
